10 Jun 2005 - PowerLinx, Inc. Completes Transfer of Hospitality Division Customers to EthoStream, LLC
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 10, 2005--PowerLinx, Inc. (OTC:PWLX) today announced completion of an agreement with EthoStream, LLC of Milwaukee, WI. Under the terms of the agreement, EthoStream will assume the management and support of PowerLinx customers under contract with the PowerLinx, Inc. Hospitality Division.
The Myrtle Beach (SC) division, which ceased operations under the PowerLinx, Inc. restructuring earlier this year, provided High Speed Internet Access ("HSIA") to hotels and motels through its Hotel Connect service. Upon deciding to discontinue the operation, PWLX management chose to ensure the best continuity of service for the division's existing contracted customers, and evaluated a variety of service providers in the hospitality segment. Ultimately, they selected EthoStream, LLC.
