26 Jul 2005 - Powerlinx Presents at FSX Investment Conference

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 26, 2005--PowerLinx, Inc. (OTCBB:PWLX - News) today announced that CEO Mike Tomlinson presented an overview of the Company's progress and strategies at the Financial Services Exchange, Inc. quarterly conference, held this past weekend at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, Kansas City, MO.

In his address to the gathering of FSX members, Tomlinson described PowerLinx break through power line technology. PowerLinx technology enables the transmission and reception of audio, video and data over the existing power lines in homes and small offices. PowerLinx is currently producing revenue from SecureView(TM) cameras, HindSight(TM) Rear Vision systems, both of which use PowerLinx power line technology. SecureView is a video surveillance camera hidden in a light bulb. HindSight(TM) is a rear vision product which enables a driver to see what is behind the vehicle.

In addition, Tomlinson explained the current PowerLinx patents protecting SecureView(TM) and HindSight(TM), as well as those protecting SeaView(TM) Marine Video products. In addition, there are over 20 trade secrets that PowerLinx has developed that will be protected as additional intellectual property.

Tomlinson also pointed out the multi-billion-dollar, rapidly-growing markets for current and future PowerLinx technology. Some of these markets include Video Monitoring, Homeland Security and Transportation. He showed the audience a live demonstration, highlighting the ease of use that distinguishes PowerLinx technology from competing products.

In closing, Mr. Tomlinson summarized the company's key advantages: high end-user demand; large, growing potential markets; a breakthrough technology which is easy to use; successful existing product lines; seasoned management with a proven track record of success; and a strong, decisive Board of Directors.

Regarding the experience, Tomlinson remarked, "The FSX Conference was a great opportunity to share the exciting PowerLinx message with the principals of top quality NASD registered broker/dealer organizations. Audience interest and enthusiasm over PowerLinx technology was very encouraging."
